This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Model identifiers: ST2000DM001, 9YN164-306, CC4H, 5009 E. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured unit. These circuit boards are intended for data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, run our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirm part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide to ensure a replacement PCB will work for your drive. Most PCBs hold unique configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip; that information is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer professional should be able to perform the chip transplant.
