This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs store unique drive-specific data in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for proper HDD operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
