This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — No hard drive included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board shipped may vary slightly from the photo. Suitable for repair or data recovery on Seagate ST2000DM001 (DC4A, 9YN164-034, 5009 E) 3.5" SATA drives. Most replacement PCBs contain a ROM “memory” chip with unique data required for proper drive operation; that ROM or its contents must be copied to the new board. If the ROM chip can be physically transplanted, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip onto the replacement PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
