This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before buying, verify that replacing the PCB will solve your problem by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirm compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most Seagate PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for correct drive operation. That ROM chip, or its data, must be moved to or programmed into the replacement board. If possible, a local computer technician can transplant the chip. For customers with purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip onto the replacement PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
