This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or HDD repair. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement board will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs store unique data in a ROM “memory” chip that is required for the drive to function. The ROM chip (or its data) must be moved or copied onto the replacement board. If physical transfer of the chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform that work. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
