This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — NO hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the circuit board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for drive repair and data recovery purposes. To confirm a replacement board will resolve your issue, please follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
