This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photograph. Intended for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Most Seagate PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip; that information is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer repair professional can typically perform the transfer.
