This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We hold a large inventory, so the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique calibration and configuration in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip (or its contents) must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the job.
