This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large number of compatible PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. The PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery. Many Seagate PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper drive operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer.
