Product is the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: Seagate SATA 2.5 PCB for data recovery or hard drive repair. Most PCBs store unique drive configuration in a ROM (memory) chip; that information is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
