SK-ISO Addressable Line Isolator Module for IntelliKnight FACPs

The SK-ISO is an addressable line isolator module designed for use with IntelliKnight series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). It protects the signaling line circuit (SLC) by acting as an automatic switch: if the SLC line voltage falls below four volts, the module opens the circuit. For installation, place isolator modules between groups of detectors or modules along the loop so a fault won’t disable the entire circuit. If a short develops between any two isolators, those isolators immediately go to an open-circuit state and isolate the devices located between them while the remaining devices on the SLC loop continue to operate normally. Installations should limit each group to no more than 25 devices.
