Complete kit: includes the heating mat, digital thermostat, alarm and a floor temperature sensor. The mat provides bottom-up warming for a comfortable floor surface that avoids the dryness and stuffiness of conventional space heaters. Rated waterproof and moisture-proof, it is suitable for kitchens and bathrooms—if the floor gets wet simply dry it and the system will remain unaffected. Installation is straightforward: the mat’s backing features 1/8 double-sided glue to hold it firmly in place. The heating cable can be shifted away from the mesh where obstructions occur; maintain a consistent level during layout changes and avoid cutting the cable. The mesh is spaced at 2" intervals, which allows cutting, rotating, and flipping the heating lines to fit the room layout; the heating lines should be embedded in a thin mortar, cement, or other self-leveling bottom layer. Built for safety, the outer sheath is PVC while the heating conductors use insulating FEP and copper. The FEP insulation withstands temperatures up to 205 degree celsius, reducing the risk of overheating. The system is available in 5 different sizes and includes an easy-to-use touchscreen thermostat with a built-in GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). Thermostat features include dual sensing (Air/Floor), power logging, child lock, four temperature control modes and a 7-day scheduling function to avoid repeating settings. Versatile for many spaces—homes, yoga studios, schools and more—the mat can be installed under ceramic tile, natural stone, laminate, or wooden floors.
