Profore Lite is a multi-layer, reduced-compression bandage system specifically designed for the management of "mixed" etiology leg ulcers where the patient has been identified to have some degree of arterial impairment which prevents the use of full compression. The Profore Lite Multi-Layer Compression Bandage System pack contains a PROFORE WCL Sterile Wound Contact Layer to help protect the wound site and wick away exudate, a PROFORE #1 absorbent padding bandage to help absorb exudate and protect bony prominences, a PROFORE #2 light conformable bandage to help absorb exudate and prepare the leg for the application of the pressure layers, and a PROFORE #4 cohesive compression bandage to help maintain continuous compression and keep the system in place for up to a full week. The Profore Lite Multi-Layer Compression Bandage System is best used on ankle circumferences greater than 18cm or 7¼ inches (padded). The Profore Lite Multi-Layer Compression Bandage System is a kit that contains everything necessary for the application of graduated compression therapy.
