The kit contains: a UV (ultraviolet) filter that protects the lens from dust, dirt, scratches, fingerprints and harmful UV rays; a circular polarizing (CPL) filter to enhance color saturation — darkening blue skies and making white clouds stand out; and an FL-D (fluorescent) filter to remove the greenish tint caused by fluorescent indoor lighting.
