Slow and Quick (S&Q) mode supports creative motion control, enabling up to 5x slow motion (with 24p output). The camera also supports uninterrupted 1 4K 60p rec. with a built-in cooling fan for effective heat sink. Low-light sensitivity: standard movie ISO ranges from 80-102400 and can be expanded up to 409600, allowing usable results in very dim conditions while retaining full-frame bokeh and shallow depth-of-field options. Autofocus and subject control: the FX3 uses high-precision AF and high-speed readout to keep subjects sharp even at high frame rates. Sophisticated tracking AF features include Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking driven by Sony's AI-based subject recognition. AF Transition Speed offers seven settings for controlled rack-focus moves, and AF Subject Shift Sensitivity includes five settings to tailor how readily focus shifts. You can also select focus points directly by touching the LCD monitor. Ergonomics and build: designed for run-and-gun cinema work, the FX3 features a compact, cage-free chassis with -20 mounting points and an XLR top handle for professional audio and rigging. Its lightweight form factor makes it easy to carry and operate for extended shoots.
