Designed for creators and vloggers, the Sony ZV-1 combines a 1” (1.0-type) stacked back-illuminated Exmor RS® CMOS image sensor with DRAM for super-fast readout and improved A/D conversion speed. Its Fast Hybrid AF (contrast and phase detection) system includes Real Time Eye-AF3 and real-time AF tracking for reliable subject focus, plus a Product Showcase setting that smoothly shifts focus from your face to an object. Choose between two defocused background bokeh modes and use Face priority AE to keep faces bright in backlit or low-light scenes. Audio is built for voice-forward content: Clear Voice with a 3-Capsule directional mic plus a wind screen accessory, a standard 3.5mm mic. Jack and an MI (Multi-interface) shoe for external accessories. The body is compact and lightweight with an easy-to-push REC button and a front-facing Rec. tally light; Soft Skin Effect is available to flatter faces in stills and movies. A built-in ND filter helps control exposure in bright conditions. Advanced video and shooting tools include pro functions such as HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) and S-Log3/2, Interval Shooting for time-lapses, and super slow-motion HFR up to 960 fps (40x).
