SOOW Cable 8/3 — 40 Feet

Manufactured in the USA. This heavy-duty SOOW 8/3 cable is NEC 400 and NFPA 70 permitted and MSHA approved. It is compliant with REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65, and is FT-5 flame tested. Constructed with 30 AWG SAE pure copper conductors (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) providing extremely flexible 30 AWG copper strands. The conductors are color-coded and insulated with extremely flexible EPDM, while the outer jacket is a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE insulation. Electrical and temperature ratings: rated for up to 600 volts; continuous temperature range -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F); oil-resistant temperature rating 60°C (140°F). Designed for both indoor and outdoor use and meets or exceeds the 720 hour UV resistant aging test. Insulation resists abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water. Ideal for portable power and extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any application that requires a rugged, heavy-duty flexible cable.
