The Sound Town METIS-18PWG is an 18" powered PA subwoofer with an efficient built-in Class-D amplifier that delivers 700 Watts RMS / 1400 Watts Program / 2400 Watts (8-ohm) Peak Power for tight, impactful low end. Connection options are flexible: 2 XLR-1/4" combo inputs, 2 RCA inputs, two XLR outputs that provide through and 100Hz high-pass functionality, plus 2 RCA outputs to integrate with a variety of rigs. A 35mm pole mount socket lets you add a satellite speaker for full-range PA coverage. The enclosure houses a high-quality 18" woofer with a 4" voice coil capable of handling the sub’s substantial power, while 5/8" birch plywood front and rear panels help resist distortion at high output. Built for road use, the cabinet features a black carpet finish, heavy-duty metal grille and protective corners, and two recessed ergonomic handles for easier transport.
