Compact powered subwoofer from the OBERON Series with an internal Class-D amplifier delivering 400W continuous and 800W peak into 8Ω. The cabinet houses a 12" woofer with a 2" voice coil and a 50 oz magnet to produce deep, controlled bass down to 40Hz. Connectivity includes (2) XLR-1/4" combo inputs, (2) RCA inputs and (2) XLR through outputs; a selectable low-pass filter is provided to integrate full-range speakers smoothly. Built for road use, the enclosure is constructed from 5/8" birch plywood to minimize distortion at high levels, and the unit features two recessed handles on each side for easier handling. An integrated M20 pole mount socket allows full-range speakers to be pole-mounted (speaker pole sold separately). Lightweight and compact, the OBERON-12SPW is suited for weddings, clubs, schools, churches and other live sound or DJ applications.
