Compact StarTech.com media converter that turns a Gigabit fiber connection into RJ45 copper without requiring SFP or Cat6 cables. PoE powered (802.3af or higher) when external power is unavailable — accepts 30-57V input and consumes a maximum of 2.5W. Single-speed 1Gbps operation on both the fiber and RJ45 ports: x1 LC duplex port (1310nm) and x1 RJ45. The LC accepts single-mode fiber up to 10km and multimode fiber up to 800m. LEDs including LFPT (Link Fault Pass-Through) provide clear link and status indication for easy network monitoring. Built for durability with an IP20-rated all-metal housing, metal RJ45 latch tab, and a spring-loaded dust cover to protect the fiber port. Measures 3.2×0.8×0.7in (82.4x20x17.2mm).
