Protect your car amplifier from overheating with the Steve Meade Designs SMD-TM1 — an LED temperature display that includes a programmable three-stage fan controller and a built-in 5amp fan output. Monitor amplifier temperature in either °C or °F and have a cooling fan engage automatically when needed. Adjust the fan activation point using the control screw located on the rear of the unit. Note: fans/cooling system not included. The meter runs from a regulated power supply so LED current and brightness remain constant regardless of battery voltage, preventing dimming under low voltage conditions. Construction and interfaces: the board is built on mil spec FR4 circuitry and the kit provides a remote wired temperature sensor with 18 feet of cable. The controller uses a PWM three-speed fan drive and comes with your choice of a C° or F° face plate. Twenty bright surface-mount LEDs give a clear visual readout across a wide vehicle voltage range.
