Designed as SVS's flagship center for high-end home theaters, the Ultra Evolution Center produces extremely clear highs, authoritative dynamics and a remarkably large sweet spot for immersive dialogue and on-screen detail. Time Aligned Cabinet Geometry ensures the curved front baffle lines up the sonic emanation point of the tweeter and mid-range on a vertical plane so the output from each driver reaches the listener simultaneously, improving phase coherence and delivering a precise, believable soundstage with accurate imaging. The speaker uses a 3-way crossover and a vertical tweeter–mid-range array to preserve timing and tonal balance across the critical center channel band. High-frequency detail is handled by a 1" SVS diamond coated aluminum dome tweeter with integrated organic cell lattice tweeter diffuser, yielding airy, open highs without measurable distortion. Midrange and low-frequency performance come from a 4.5" SVS glass fiber composite mid-range plus dual 6.5" woofers; their high stiffness-to-mass characteristics provide outstanding dynamic response and faithful tonal accuracy through the mid octaves where most program content resides.
