This listing is for the kit version of the 9V DIRT Filter. DIRT operates as a low-pass filter and an effects unit, designed from the ground up for aggressive, characterful processing. Inspired by a favorite 'noisy' filter, the module's Bias knob unlocks a wide range of unusual textures and behaviors. It's not a typical filter — expect filtering plus ring-mod-style tones, wave shaping and outright brutal harmonic distortion. DIRT tends to square up incoming signals, so try triangle, sawtooth, sine or other waveforms for different results. It also accepts instrument sources: plug a guitar in (via an external amplification module) for thick, heavily distorted sounds.
