OVERVIEW — The TAKSTAR DA12 is the 2024 upgraded 3-in-1 handheld mic: microphone, power amplifier and speaker combined. Peak output reaches 12W and the unit is housed in an all aluminum alloy metal shell for durability and a comfortable grip. Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity lets you stream music from phones, laptops and computers. IMPORTANT CONNECTION NOTE — This device is NOT a Bluetooth transmitter microphone. It cannot be linked to external speakers, additional amplifiers, PA systems, or separate karaoke systems. It can pair with mobile phones, computers and laptops in Karaoke Mode and Bluetooth mode; however, in Bluetooth mode the DA12 only plays audio from the paired device and does not transmit live speech. RECORDING & TF CARD FEATURES — A newly added TF memory interface supports playback of MP3 and WAV files from a TF card and also allows recording directly to the TF card. Double-click the Power button to start TF card recording; tap the Power button again to stop and the recording will automatically play back. MODES & CONTROLS — Use the Power button to cycle between Speech Mode, Hosting Mode, Karaoke Mode, Bluetooth Mode and TF Card Mode. The mic includes 4 built-in sound effects and a 5-speed volume control. In TF Card/Wireless playback mode: press-and-hold Volume + to go to the previous track and press-and-hold Volume - to skip to the next track. AUDIO DESIGN & PERFORMANCE — DA12 uses a rare-earth speaker and a classic cardioid pickup pattern to focus on sound in front of the mic while reducing side and rear noise. A smart digital DSP chip is built in to minimize feedback and harsh howl, delivering clear sound suitable for speaking, teaching, hosting, parties or outdoor use. Coverage can reach about 1600 sq. ft(about 100m²). POWER & BATTERY — Working time up to 8 hours. The unit remembers the last mode and volume level and will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity to save battery. Charging method: DC5V=1.5A.
