The Televes Ellipse Mix is an outdoor High-VHF/UHF HDTV antenna engineered for long-distance reception—rated up to a 75-mile range and optimized for RF channels 7-36. Its integrated TForce preamplifier continuously analyzes incoming signals and automatically adjusts gain independently for VHF and UHF to deliver clear, no-compromise TV reception while maintaining the correct delivered signal level at all times. Intelligent auto-gain delivers optimal amplification with a very low-noise figure, preserving signal quality (optimal C/N) and offering the highest dynamic range to detect very weak signals without overload from strong signals. FM and LTE/5G filtering suppresses radio and cellular interference, and the antenna’s special double-U dipole with an open/close format ensures flat frequency response. Extremely lightweight and compact (38.8 in. x 34 in. x 27 in.), the Ellipse Mix is easier to mount in tight or exposed locations and reduces wind resistance. A fully shielded switch box protects the BOSS system from impulsive noise and is grounded to guard against electrical discharge. The unit has low consumption in intelligent mode and can run active (amp on) or passive (amp off); if power is lost, it will continue to operate in passive mode by bypassing the built-in electronics.
