Built as a traditional passive speaker design, they are driven directly from your home audio receiver or amp. Audio performance: Full-range 2-way design with 8" woven fiber bulletproof cone woofers featuring butyl rubber surrounds and pivoting silk dome tweeters. Equipped with 2nd order 12dB per octave crossovers, the frequency response is 32Hz-20 kHz with a sensitivity of 92dB at 8ohm. Installation and construction: Pressure lock mounting system clamps securely to drywall. Requires a round speaker hole size of 9.625" with a mounting depth of 3.5625" and an overall diameter of 11.0625". Includes spring-loaded raw wire connections and durable ABS housings; grills are paintable to match your decor. System requirements: Any home audio receiver or amp with raw speaker wire outputs. Power from your amp should be no less than 10 and no more than 250 watts per channel. Use CL3 rated in wall certified raw speaker wire to connect your receiver to the speakers.
