Compact, flush-mount in-ceiling speakers engineered for wide sound dispersion and easy integration with existing audio systems. These are passive speakers—simply drive them from any home audio receiver or amplifier that has raw speaker wire outputs. Drivers and crossover: 8" woven fiber bulletproof cone woofers with butyl rubber surrounds, pivoting silk dome tweeters and 2nd order 12dB per octave crossovers. Performance: frequency response 32Hz-20 kHz with 92dB at 8ohm. Installation and construction: pressure-lock mounting clamps secure tightly to drywall; required round cutout is 9.625" with a mounting depth of 3.5625" and an overall diameter of 11.0625". Connection and durability: spring-loaded raw wire connections, rugged ABS housings and paintable grills. Power and wiring requirements: any receiver or amp with raw speaker outputs; amplifier power should be no less than 10 and no more than 250 watts per channel. Use CL3 rated in wall certified raw speaker wire to run from your receiver to the speakers.
