Thermostat E (3rd Generation) is a programmable smart thermostat designed for home use. Home/Away Assist automatically switches the thermostat to an Eco Temperature after you leave so you aren’t heating or cooling an empty house. Connectivity requirements — Wi-Fi internet connection; phone or tablet running iOS or Android; the companion app. Remote control lets family members adjust the temperature from anywhere using a phone, laptop, or tablet. The thermostat includes HVAC monitoring that watches over your heating and cooling systems, sending an alert if something seems off and providing helpful maintenance reminders. When you select an energy-saving temperature, a Leaf icon appears; use Energy History in the app to review how much energy you’ve used and discover ways to save more.
