The tri-tip has a distinct grain and is thick in size, and it is best prepared at a lower temperature to cook properly. The tri-tip is a versatile cut and can be smoked, grilled, or roasted in the oven. Naturally lean with an undeniably robust flavor, this is a versatile, world-class roast that you'll surely enjoy. Remove and let rest for 10 minutes. Slicing a tri-tip requires attention. The grain changes direction, so adjust the angle to ensure the entire tri-tip is sliced against the grain.
