Mechanical reliability is enhanced with integrated RV sensors that detect and mitigate rotational vibration in multi-bay setups. An on-board cache algorithm and buffer management scheme balance cache allocation between reads and writes to improve real-time throughput. The drive spins at 7200 RPM and features a 512MB cache while offering up to 1.0 GB data buffer to maintain high performance during intensive tasks.
