Overview: The TP-Link JetStream T1600G-28TS is a rack-mountable managed Gigabit switch featuring 24 x 10/100/1000 ports plus 4 x combo Gigabit SFPs, designed to consolidate voice, video and data traffic on a single network with predictable performance. Advanced QoS and voice support: To prioritize real-time services, the switch implements comprehensive QoS controls. Administrators can set traffic priority using Port Priority, 802.1P Priority and DSCP Priority so voice and video remain clear, smooth and free of jitter. Combined with the supported Voice VLAN, voice applications achieve noticeably smoother performance. Layer 2 capabilities and maintenance tools: The T1600G-28TS provides a full suite of Layer 2 features including 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port Isolation, IP-MAC-Port Binding, Port Mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation Group and the 802.3x Flow Control function. For network upkeep it offers Loop Back Detection and Cable Diagnostics.
