Yes, this breaker LOTO is designed for most single, double, or triple pole breakers with up to 7/8" thick tie bar handles. 3. Can the circuit breaker be locked in the ON position using this lockout? Although it depends primarily on the design of the circuit breaker and is not generally advised for safety reasons, our breaker lock can secure a circuit breaker either on the ON or OFF position. 4. Can the breaker panel door be closed even when these lockouts are applied? Generally, yes. But that depends if there’s enough space between the panel door and the switches.
