Ultra-Slim Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) — Compatible With Sony DT 16-105mm F3.5-5.6

Designed for use with the Sony DT 16-105mm F3.5-5.6, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter uses an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while still allowing smooth rotation for leveling. A textured, nonslip upper rim makes mounting, rotating and removing the filter quick and secure. Optical surfaces are treated on both sides with multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and scratch- and water-resistant. The CPL eliminates unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, and it boosts color and contrast — notably deepening blue skies and enhancing white clouds. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicularly to reflected light, the filter allows much of that reflected light to be absorbed, clearing haze in distant landscapes and producing richer, more vivid colors. For the strongest effect position the filter at a 90° angle from the sun.
