This expansion card splits a single PCIE X16 into two lanes (x16 to x8x8) and uses the GEN4 protocol to provide the full 4.0 x16 bandwidth. Note that full GEN4 operation may depend on specific conditions and compatibility. Your motherboard must support PCIe bifurcation and be able to switch the PCIE slot to X8X8 mode for proper operation. The board uses LOTES new GEN4 connector with a small buckle and employs golden-finger sinking technology with the gold thickness increased to 5U.
