Construction: Rugged ABS+PC housing with an IP54 dust-proof rating. Designed for frequent use, it endures read/write cycles up to 200 cycles. Power & connectivity: USB 2.0 (Type-C) powered with low power draw (170mA idle, 230mA active). An optional USB-C to USB-A converter is included for broader compatibility. Setup & use: Plug into a USB port — an LED indicates power. The device is plug-and-play and is automatically detected by supported operating systems without extra drivers. To read a card, hold the contactless smartcard 1-3 cm from the reader; compatible applications will detect and process it automatically.
