STARVIS 2 and HDR improve low-light performance across all three cameras. Vantrue’s PlatePix™ on the front boosts license-plate recognition by 1.5X, while four professional IR lights on the interior camera preserve detailed cabin images even in total darkness. The upgraded rear module delivers 2.5K HD resolution with a 160° field of view, offering roughly 50% more detail than standard 1080P units. It’s IP67-rated for weather resistance and includes two adjustable mounting options for interior or exterior installation, making it suitable for sedans, trucks, SUVs, pickups, roadsters and more. Connectivity and recording utilities are made simple with 5GHz WiFi (4x accelerated download speed) and the free Vantrue APP for phone pairing: configure settings, update firmware, preview and playback, download, edit and share clips. The dual-system GPS logger records location, speed (KM/H or MPH) and routes; GPS data can be converted into mileage analysis reports useful for insurance claims. For unattended protection, the N4S offers 24/7 Buffered Parking Mode with four smart parking options. A 10s pre-recording buffer plus motion detection captures complete events from every camera, and quick-start collision detection triggers simultaneous recording on all three cameras when an impact occurs. Note: hardwire installation is required for parking functions (hardwire kit sold separately).
