Cable Size: 1.7 x 61.0 ft / 50.9 x 1858.1 cm. Installation is straightforward: the mat uses 2" spacing which permits cutting of the mesh, rotating, and flipping during layout. The mat is 1/8 inch thick and features double-sided adhesive to stay flat against the subfloor. DO NOT CUT THE CABLE. The heating wires must be embedded in a self-leveling underlayment, thin-set mortar, or cement. The included programmable touchscreen thermostat is user-friendly and incorporates a built-in GFCI for safety. Thermostat capabilities include dual sensing (air/floor), power logging, child lock, four temperature control modes, and a 7-day scheduling function to avoid repetitive programming. An installation monitor is supplied with the kit so you can verify the underfloor heating cable integrity during installation and avoid costly removal or re-pouring of concrete. When choosing mat size, round up your floor space — for example, a floor of 2.6 square meters requires a 2 square meter mat to avoid excess coverage.
