They do not operate alone and must be connected to other equipment such as a traditional analog DVR (Digital Video Recorder), coaxial cable and a monitor (not included). Built for both indoor and outdoor use, each camera is housed in an aluminum, weatherproof, vandal-proof case. The camera employs a 1/3" CCD image sensor with color DSP and delivers a horizontal resolution of 480TVL. It features advanced day/night functionality that records in color during daylight and switches to black & white at night. Night vision is provided by 20 Infrared LEDs, yielding a minimum illumination of 0.0 Lux when IR is on. Optics are a 3.6 mm wide angle lens and the unit uses the NTSC signal system. Power requirement is 12V DC 500mA (adapters included). Connections consist of BNC video and a 2.1 mm center positive power plug.
