Overview: This VideoSecu bmu dome security camera uses a 1/3" Pixim image sensor with DPS processing and Super WDR to deliver high-quality analog video (NTSC standard) in challenging lighting. It provides 690 TV lines of horizontal resolution and captures color footage in daylight and black-and-white images at night. Optics & Night Vision: The camera is fitted with a varifocal lens f 4-9mm (external zoom focus adjusting) and a bank of 36 IR LEDs for illumination. Minimum illumination is 0.0 Lux (IR ON). A built-in mechanical IR-cut filter switch ensures accurate daytime color and reliable night-time B/W performance. Image Processing & Performance: DPS processing treats each pixel independently for clearer detail, while Super WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) helps maintain visible detail across mixed-brightness scenes. Construction & Power: Housed in a weatherproof metal casing designed for indoor or outdoor use, the unit incorporates a vandal armor design for extra protection. Power requirement is 12V DC 1000mA (not included). Compatibility & What's Included: This is an older-style analog camera — it is not wireless, not wifi, and not compatible with HD systems. It is part of a traditional CCTV setup and will not operate by itself; it must be connected to other equipment such as a traditional analog DVR (Digital Video Recorder), cable and monitor (not included).
