This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for correct drive operation. That ROM data must be transferred to the replacement board (either by moving the ROM chip itself or by reprogramming the new PCB). If you cannot perform the transfer, a local computer technician can typically move the chip for you. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip onto the replacement board or reprogram the new PCB with the correct ROM data.
