This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This part is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery work. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique settings stored in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If a chip transplant is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the procedure.
