This listing is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. We maintain a large inventory, so the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are intended for HDD repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM memory that is required for normal operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board; when possible a local technician can perform the chip transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
