This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we have a large inventory, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will solve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs include unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip that is required for normal operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer professional can usually perform that procedure. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
