This listing is for the hard drive PCB/logic board only. No hard drive, enclosure, or other components are included. Due to our large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Purpose: This replacement PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery use. Important ROM information: Many HDD circuit boards store unique drive-specific data in a ROM "memory" chip. That data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
