This listing includes ONLY the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board). No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Use: Designed for hard drive repair and data recovery projects. Important ROM info: Many hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM memory that is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM contents. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer.
