This sale is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the pictured unit. These circuit boards are intended for HDD repair and data recovery tasks. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM data that is required for proper drive operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If feasible, a local computer technician can transplant the ROM chip. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
