This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verifying compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If chip removal and transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
