This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to a large inventory, the board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery applications. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and check compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most replacement PCBs include a ROM "memory" chip that contains unique drive-specific information required for proper operation. Either the ROM chip itself or its data must be transferred to the new board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers moving the ROM chip onto the replacement PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
