This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. The hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB replacement will fix your unit by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip—or its data—must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide complimentary adaptation service, which includes either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
