This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and check compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service, which includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
